Big news from San Diego Comic Con, Capcom announced Ken as the reveal for the upcoming Street Fighter V.  Not much of a reveal to me, because Ken pretty much was part of the original group and this game would desperately be in need of his appearance.

In the days when Street Fighter first hit the Super Nintendos, you could almost categorize what type of person someone was  based on RYU and KEN. (I was always a Ryu, but that’s beside the point.) So, Ken was a must in this game for all of those that clung to his character.

But this isn’t the old Ken, this is a shiny new upgraded version. With a new set of clothes, new hairstyle, and some new moves, it looks like the only thing that remains is his signature HADOUKEN.

Here are the rest of the pics featuring KEN from Street Fighter V:

The graphics are looking pretty amazing and the gameplay looks classic for this game. And if you’re heading to Six Flags this summer, you may have a chance to actually play it. Earlier this month, Capcom announced it’s partnership with Six flags, featuring a “Street Fighter V at Six Flags Experience” at select Six Flags locations.

Below is the complete list of dates that are left this summer:

July 13 – July 19
·         Six Flags Fiesta Texas (San Antonio, TX)
July 27 – August 2
·         Six Flags Over St. Louis (Eureka, MO)
·         Six Flags Over Georgia (Austell, GA)
August 10 – August 16
·         Six Flags Great America (Gurnee, IL)
·         Six Flags America (Bowie, MD)
August 24 – August 30
·         Six Flags Great Adventure (Jackson, NJ)
·         Six Flags New England (Agawam, MA)

The experience will showcase game demos of the unreleased game on a Playstation 4 system. Guests will be able to play the game before it even comes out in Spring 2016. There will also be super fun single elimination tournaments with prizes awarded to the winners.

First, let’s talk about Ken as the reveal? Thoughts?

Second, Who thinks they can make it to one of the Six Flags locations to play Street Fighter V?
