There may be good news in the wind for Game of Thrones fans. Kit Harrington, who plays Jon Snow in the series, was seen on Thursday at a Wimbledon tennis match still sporting his long locks as per Hollywood Reporter. This may seem like mediocre news, I mean the guys hair is his own business, but it is a fact that under HBO contract, Harrington cannot cut his luscious hair. His hair is STILL long and uncut, therefore he must STILL be in the show. Right?

We are clutching at straws folks. The last minutes of the end of season five consisted of Jon Snow’s last breath, after being stabbed by members of the Night’s watch. GOT fans were in an uproar after his death, because…JON SNOW! He is probably one of the most beloved characters of the show. Kit Harrington and the Directors of the show swear that Jon Snow is finished in the series. He is done and dead. But then you have to think, if he was coming back, wouldn’t it be ruined if they admitted to it ?

All types of theories have come up from hopeful Game of Throners, on how it could be possible for Jon Snow to return in Season 6. The red witch Melisandre is at the wall, conspiracy theorist suggest that she will revive Jon Snow with powers obtained from her belief in the Lord of light.
The man is so loved that we don’t even care if he comes back as a white walker! Take that for loyalty.

I haven’t finished the “A Song of ice and Fire” novels, but I haven’t read anywhere that references the book in what definitively happens to Jon Snow. Even if we could get a clue from the novels written by George R.R. Martin, the HBO team has admitted to swaying far away from the original story-line. Alot of stuff on the series has been made up, changed, or edited. We have no way of knowing for sure if he will come back.

This could, of course, all be in our heads. Maybe Kit Harrington likes the way he looks with long hair. Maybe he doesn’t feel like cutting it, even though he won’t be returning to the show. In which case, we are doomed. I’m hopeful, anyway, that this a real reason to get excited for season six.  Because I swear, if they kill one more of my favorite characters, I will be boycotting this show.

Final consensus: Is Jon Snow returning for Season Six GOT ? What do you think?

He has to, right?
