What’s better then Valentine’s day? The return of The Walking Dead to AMC on Feb 14th at 9PM. We’ve been waiting all winter and now it’s finally time to see what is going with Rick Grime’s and friends. [thanks to every one who participated in the TWD giveaway 😉 ]

But before we begin to wonder about the rest of this seasons new obstacles, we should refresh our memories on where the midseason finale left us. [read the midseason finale recap here]

  1.  Is Jessie’s son, Sam, going to ruin everything?

Sam is the last voice we hear at the end of the episode of the midseason finale. As the group begins to walk in the midst of all the walkers that have breached the safe zone, Sam begins to panic and slowly raises his voice to call his mother. Will the walkers notice him and the others. I don’t know if you remember, but the place was jam-packed with the undead, and if even ONE notices that they’re humans, there will be no where to really run.

  2. What will happen with the Lone Wolf?

Carol and Morgan failed at keeping their opposing views together to focus on the last wolf on their grounds. This wolf has been successful at taking Denise hostage and making his way out of the house, even as Eugene and the girls tried to intervene. Now we have a wolf with a hostage loose at the safe zone. Will he succeed at escaping? Will he take Denise with him or will he kill her? And if he does get free, will he bring more wolves to carve out W’s on the foreheads of their victims? Even as I think of the possibilities, I wonder if he even has a chance to be a threat at all with all the walkers that have filtered into the safe zone.

  3. Will Glenn and Maggie be reunited?

With all those walkers pooled in front of the torn walls of the safe zone, it would have been easy for Glenn to believe that Maggie and the others were done for, but he still had faith that they were alive. He finally got the slightest confirmation from watching Maggie climb to the front of the gate tower. There must be no better relief then to realize that his pregnant wife is alive and well, even after a ton of zombies infiltrated their homes. However, this pregnant wife is going to need to eat and use the bathroom at the very least, and she can’t do much from where she is. Will Glenn be able to save her?

  4. Will Darryl, Abraham, and Sasha get to Rick before Negan?

The Midseason finale completely focused on the inhabitants of the safe zone and didn’t bring any updates on Darryl, Abe,and Sasha, who are miles away. But we all know that the group has encountered supporters of the famed Negan from the comics. Negan is rumored to bring a wrath on this side of the post-apocalyptic world unlike any other, including the Governor. No match for the Governor? I’m excited for his arrival and at the same time, I can’t wait for him to leave 🙂

Tonight’s episode will start off with Darryl and crew, and AMC has provided the first few minutes of the return of The Walking Dead.

What do you think about Negan?? Any resourceful premonitions? Comment below or send me a message here –>
