This summer we will have a blockbuster straight from the Marvel comics vault of heavenly wishes. The Avengers: Age of Ultron will be headed to theaters on May 1st. There is so much to incorporate into this film with such little time. Sure I’m willing to sit at the movies for a few hours, but let’s face it, not many of us are interested in spending more then three hours for a film. God forbid they EVER release the Lord of the Rings trilogy in Imax.
With that in mind, the producers of this film managed to develop an action packed film with a lot of major references and only taking us away from society for two and a half hours, as explained by the Business Informer. But that means that they took away some footage, and some, may not be happy about what was crossed out in the final edits.
The movies plot is based on the newly introduced villain, Ultron, a Bruce Banner and Tony Stark creation, that backfires when it’s peaceful program comes with the objective to wipe out the human race, in order to keep the planet Earth safe. The Avengers come to the rescue, and it seems, that Ultron picks up Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch as allies in his quest.
Here are a list of Pros that will force you to leave the comfort of your couch:
Hulk makes a play for the other team. Is the Scarlet Witch successful at completely turning him? How many will turn due to the Scarlet Witch’s powers? And how well will The Avengers do, with one of their biggest assets against them?
Their on a world tour of problems! Plus so many Ultrons!
Who would want to miss the introduction of Marvel’s creations, Quicksilver and the Scarlet Witch?
War Machine has a confirmed cameo.
Here’s the downfall. Some edits, some issues, some minor SNAFUS:
I know that there are plenty of us out there that are deeply devoted to aesthetics. I am one of those people that needs to see resemblances in bringing a character to life and that means that I have to be able to say: Oh, that’s so-and-so from the comic! Uncanny! This is not the case here. Quicksilver’s costume is cheesy and the Scarlet Witch looks like she is headed to a punk rock club.
A bald women disrobing in a cave in one of the trailers, started an uproar of theories on reveals that could explain the clip. As told here on SlashFilm, this scene isn’t in the final edit of the movie. Major fail.
There will be no Captain Marvel, as told by Moviepilot. The rumor that there would be a cameo by Captain Marvel has been circulating. We will most likely have to wait for her actual movie slated to be released November 2018.
What are you looking forward to in The Avengers: Age of Ultron? Any cameos in mind?
