July 31st has become a celebrated date because of Harry Potter’s birthday and the birthday of the author of the series, J.K. Rowling. But this year, we have an even bigger treat to celebrate, the release of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, a copy of the script of the Harry Potter play in London of the same name.

Unfortunately, this will be the last book released as per what J.K. Rowling told the press. But if memory serves me right, thats been said quite a few times since book 7, and now we have the Fantastic beasts film and book, a play, The Wizarding world at Universal Studios, Pottermore, and many other unexpected additions, even as they told us that there would be no more Harry Potter. But if J.K. Rowling sticks to her guns this time, this will be the end to any additions to the Harry Potter Universe. Harry Potter is 36, after all.

I’m sure even if we don’t get any new books in the future, July 31st will still be a date to celebrate.
